Who IS The Cheeky Chipmunk?
Hi, friend! I’m Lenore Koppelman, currently located in Astoria Queens, NYC. Born of Brazilian decent, I grew up in a very Latin American home in New Orleans, Louisiana. My work is inspired by the rich and vibrant colors and aesthetics of both Brazilian Carnival as well as New Orleans Mardi Gras season. I especially love to focus on playful designs that feel nostalgic of my childhood in the 1970s & ‘80s. (Trapper Keepers and Scratch N’ Sniff stickers, anyone?)
Follow me and all of my artistic adventures with my other magical industry friends I gratefully subcontract. We joyfully team up so they can help me take on those bigger gigs that I could not possibly take on alone. Together we combine forces to make the world a happier and more colorful place… one smiling face at a time.
